You might have noticed the new construction taking place to the southern side of the existing change rooms. This is a new storage / social facility which is badly needed by the club. Thanks to Colin Dalwood from National Plumbing for the digging of the footings also to Phil McMullen for installing the concrete footings. Also thanks to Harry Kirby homes for the Face bricks, Neville Prossor from Summit Projects for the inside fast wall bricks, and Mitre 10 Halls Head for the cement.
With the weather finally giving us a window on Saturday we were able to lay the retaining wall bricks, the shed will be about half a meter above the surrounding ground level to offer a better view from the veranda area. Thanks to Patrick Falkstrom, Dave Hands and Michael McKiernan for laying the bricks. All these volunteers have kids in the club.
If we have any shed installers out there that would like to help install the shed please contact Graeme heal 0417984280
